A “4‑Player Flight” is an on‑demand event that starts as soon as four players have signed up. These events fire immediately once the pod is full.

Best‑of‑Three (BO3) events are run as traditional match play with sideboards.

The number of coupons required to join varies by event. Events that require coupons will use the Battle Event Coupons included in the Magic TAISENSAI packages or in the Battle Event Packs sold at the venue.

Events that require a cash entry fee must be paid in cash at the Flight Event Registration Desk.

“Expert Standard – BO3” follows the same structure as a regular “4‑Player Flight Standard – BO3,” but the number of coupons and reward stamps is significantly different, and the event includes a time limit.

This format offers only a small number of participation stamps, but awards a very large number of victory stamps. Skilled players can earn far more stamps than usual by winning their matches.

Each match has a 50‑minute time limit. A timer will be provided, and players are responsible for managing time at their table. If you are unsure how to proceed when time expires, please call a judge.

Because of its high‑risk, high‑reward nature, this event is recommended for players confident in their competitive skills. It is also ideal for players aiming for top‑tier prizes, as it offers the potential to earn many stamps in fewer matches.

For this event only, individual result reporting will be used. Players may report their results as soon as their second round is finished; you do not need to wait for all four players at your table to complete their matches.

Power Level Classification in 4-Player Pod Commander Matches
In 4-Player Pod Commander matches, tables are grouped based on the deck’s power level.
We use the Commander Bracket (Beta Version) system, which divides decks into five distinct levels for matchmaking.
Please note that certain levels may take longer to match.
If you wish to enjoy more matches throughout the day, we recommend bringing decks of multiple power levels.

How to Obtain Coupons

• When you purchase a Basic Package, you will receive the coupons needed to participate in match events at the time of entry. When you purchase a Premium Package, you will receive a “Match Event 1‑Day Free Pass,” which allows unlimited use as coupons. Please note that coupons cannot be used for 4‑Player Flight Sealed events or Lecture Events. If you run out of coupons on the day of the event, please purchase an additional Match Event Pack. For more details, please refer to the “How to Participate” page, which will be published at a later date.

Coupon Notes

• Coupons cannot be refunded, exchanged, or reissued.
• Coupons are valid only on the day of the event. They cannot be used on any other day.
• Copying, selling, lending, or transferring coupons is strictly prohibited.
• Unused coupons may be exchanged for one snack per 3 coupons.

• You may not participate in multiple events at the same time. This includes Flight Events, 3on3 Events, Stage Events, and Lecture Events.
• Groups of three or more may be declined from joining a Flight Event. (However, exceptions may be made at the organizer’s discretion, such as for families with minors or when no other players are waiting for the same format.)
• Changing the match format to Bo1 or deciding match results without playing is strictly prohibited. Proposing such actions is also prohibited.
• Entry and participation while under the influence of alcohol is not allowed. Drinking alcohol inside the venue is also prohibited.
• Unauthorized advertising or solicitation inside the venue is prohibited.
• Stalking, ambushing, harassment, suspicious behavior, monitoring, filming, or covert photography of staff, judges, event personnel, or other attendees is strictly prohibited.
• Excessively long complaints or discussions with staff that interfere with event operations are prohibited.
• Any filming, recording, streaming, or covert photography that causes discomfort or inconvenience to the subject is prohibited.
